Scribings of an Aspiring Bard

BioOnce upon a moment, a young woman sat down . . . no one too special, just another member of the generation of computers and the Internet, mind filled with images and dreams, with the thought of someday becoming a writer.
However, this young woman was very shy about her calling, and even more so when it came time to place original works in front of others. Or worse, some of the fan fiction she'd first read with shock and horror, but which later began to grow on her, intrige her . . . the much-maligned genre of slash.
And so she made a decision, still hesitant, but setting her chin and going at it anyway. If she was too shy to admit any of this somewhere that people could identify her, she could always create for herself an account lacking identifying information, intended solely for her creative works, where perhaps she would have to feel less shy about some of the things she was writing, and maybe could develop her skills in a more public forum. And so this account was born.
My birthday comes too close to an identifying fact for me to be comfortable with putting it up; if I keep letting little things slip then someday there will be a messy tangle of these things that might point out who I am. Still, I am old enough to legally consume alcohol in the United States, and since that landmark occurs at twenty-one I can reassure any moderators concered with age that I am over the age of eighteen.
